Drass, July 26 (KNO): As part of the 26th Kargil Vijay Diwas commemorations, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya praised the patriotic spirit of over 3,000 youth volunteers from My Bharat, who participated in a 'padyatra' to honour the bravehearts of the Kargil War.
Speaking at the event in Drass, Mandaviya as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said, "More than 3,000 volunteers walked in tribute to the soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation. I am proud of the youth who are taking such initiatives to fulfil their responsibility towards building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) and to express their gratitude to our fallen heroes”.
The padyatra was one of several nationwide activities organized to mark the anniversary, aiming to instill patriotism among the youth and remind the nation of the courage and valour displayed by Indian soldiers during the 1999 Kargil conflict—(KNO)
